Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Hamatics ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our AI-powered Zone Monitoring platform, including our mobile application, edge monitoring system, and related services.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling information responsibly and securely.
1. About Our Service
Hamatics provides an AI-powered monitoring platform designed to work with CCTV camera systems.
The platform can analyze camera streams using edge computing devices and detect configured events such as zone entry or exit, line crossings, dwell events, and activity within monitored areas.
Depending on the system configuration, detected events may generate notifications and short event video clips that authorized users can access through the Hamatics mobile application.
2. Information We May Collect
The information collected depends on how your organization has configured and uses the Hamatics platform.
Account Information
When an account is created, we may process information such as:
- Email address
- User account identifier
- Organization or tenant identifier
- Authentication information
Authentication credentials are handled through our authentication systems and are used to provide secure access to the service.
Camera and Monitoring Information
The system may process information associated with configured CCTV cameras, including:
- Camera identifiers and names
- Camera connection and availability status
- Configured monitoring zones and lines
- Monitoring rules and thresholds
- Detected event information
- Event date and time
Video and Event Clips
Video streams are primarily analyzed on the edge computing device installed at the customer's location.
Continuous video does not need to be continuously transmitted to our cloud services for AI analysis.
When a configured monitoring event occurs, the system may create and store a short video clip associated with that event. The clip may be made available to authorized users through the mobile application.
Depending on what is visible to the CCTV camera, event clips may contain images of people, vehicles, or other objects appearing within the monitored environment.
Push Notification Information
To provide event notifications, the application may process a push notification token associated with the user's device.
This token is used to deliver notifications related to monitoring events and system status.
Technical Information
We may process limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service, such as:
- Device platform and operating system
- Application version
- System and application logs
- Error and diagnostic information
3. How We Use Information
Information processed by the Hamatics platform may be used to:
- Provide and operate the monitoring service
- Authenticate users and protect user accounts
- Analyze configured CCTV streams for monitoring events
- Generate event notifications
- Provide event video clips to authorized users
- Display camera connectivity and system status
- Provide monitoring statistics
- Maintain the security and reliability of the platform
- Diagnose technical problems
- Improve the functionality and performance of the service
4. Edge Processing
A core feature of the Hamatics platform is edge-based video processing.
AI detection and tracking are performed on an edge computing device located close to the customer's cameras. This allows camera streams to be analyzed locally rather than requiring continuous transmission of video to a remote cloud service.
Certain information resulting from this processing, such as detected events, event metadata, notifications, and short event clips, may be transmitted to backend services when required to provide the functionality of the platform.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information.
Information may be processed by service providers that help us operate essential parts of the platform, such as infrastructure, authentication, data storage, and push notification services.
These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their respective services and are expected to protect information in accordance with applicable privacy and security requirements.
We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or valid governmental request.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse.
Access to monitoring information and event clips is restricted to authorized users associated with the relevant account or organization.
However, no electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet operational requirements, resolve disputes, maintain security, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Event information and event video clips may be retained according to the configuration and retention policies established for the customer's monitoring environment.
Information that is no longer required may be deleted or anonymized, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
8. Data Deletion and Privacy Requests
Users may contact us to request information about their personal data or, where applicable, request correction or deletion of their personal information.
Certain information may need to be retained where required by law or where necessary for legitimate security, contractual, or operational purposes.
To submit a privacy or data deletion request, contact us using the information provided in the Contact Us section below.
9. Camera Monitoring Responsibilities
Hamatics provides technology that enables organizations to analyze video from CCTV cameras and configure monitoring rules.
Customers and organizations deploying the system are responsible for ensuring that their use of cameras and video monitoring complies with applicable privacy, surveillance, employment, signage, notification, and data protection requirements in the jurisdictions where the system is deployed.
10. Children's Privacy
The Hamatics monitoring platform is intended for business and organizational use and is not designed as a service directed to children.
We do not knowingly create accounts for children through the Hamatics mobile application.
11. International Data Processing
Depending on the customer's location and the infrastructure used to provide the service, information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country in which the user is located.
Where required, appropriate measures are used to protect information transferred between jurisdictions.
12. Third-Party Services
The application may use third-party technology providers for functionality such as authentication, infrastructure, data storage, notifications, diagnostics, or other technical services.
These providers may process limited information as necessary to provide their services.
We evaluate the privacy and security requirements applicable to third-party services used by the platform.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, our data practices, or applicable legal requirements.
When the policy is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be changed.
